Cleanup on Vauxhall Island

JROC volunteers will meet at the 14th St whitewater takeout at 9am before heading over to Vauxhall Island to clean up trash and general debris. People with ‘residences’ on the island will be notified ahead of time of our cleanup efforts. JRPS will provide a trailer to haul debris away afterwards. The cleanup effort will be during low tide but we are going to try and use canoes to ferry people and trash.

Vauxhall Island is located just upstream of the 14th St Bridge North of Mayo Island.
