  • December Minutes
    • Amended: Change to 2.6 to .65 acres of impervious surface.

  • Treasurer’s report:
    • Nathan has green signs, will send invoice
    • Motion approved to remove high water signage from approved funds due to need for more information
    • motion approved to remove email allocation from approved funds
  • Projects:
    • December Belle Isle project postponed due to equipment and weather issues
    • Stake holders and experts modified plan for improvement
    • 14th Project for installing pavers and fixing changing room
    • Sally will send Max list of projects for stickers
  • Boats & Brews
    • 7pm movies start
    • Opens at 5pm
    • Matt R. will handle Square readers from Sally
  • Access Subcommittee
    • Budget tripled due to estimates of turbulent water construction from Timmons
    • Has to be designed higher level due to other amenities in the area
    • New estimate is ~$26k for the construction documents & permitting
    • New access point is to the west of current takeout
    • Timmons will provide a preliminary construction cost estimate

    • Received grant from richmond chapter of american alpine club for $7k
      • Improvements at manchester climbing wall
    • T Pot 35k visits since it opened
      • roughly 1/4” gap in decking
      • signage being produced to warn dog owners
      • gates installed to stop people from going up and down wood tpot steps
      • gates need stronger hinge system so it stays closed
    • Soliciting bids for park master plan
    • Friends of the James River is poised to raise funds for park master plan
    • Working on a economic impact study for the park
    • Invasive species management plan complete
      • Working on plans to treat different invasive species at different time periods
    • 1.4 million visits total for 2016
      • Northbank park went down due to heavy police presence
