JROC kicks off Invasive Species Week in JRPS

JROC kicks off Invasive Species Week in JRPS

posted on February 25, 2018

Invasive species are non-native plants that crowd out and kill trees and other native plants. JROC helped park staff remove these aggressive plants from the area and generally cleaned up the area. This is part one of a two part improvement at Huguenot Flatwater. Saturday, March 1st, JROC will be back out there to replace the old wooden steps leading from the parking lot to the overlook area.
