    • Need to remove trifold line item
    • no plans to do onsite events where it would be needed

  • Huguenot Update
    • Latest proposal is over 700k
    • work with contractors to lower price
    • reach out to other contractors who haven’t submitted bids
    • design changes to bring down cost
    • expecting to in 350 – 500k range
    • possibly use different styles of concrete to blend in with surroundings
    • still have time to get started this year
  • Diversity/Equity/Inclusion
    • Tricia reached out to community members
    • Andrew Alli helped moderate
    • others joined via social media links
    • possibly donate time to help with roll clinics at bellemeade pool
    • make those valuable experiences for people that don’t have paddling experience
    • work projects that highlight POC / Indigenous accomplishments in the park and not just slavery, etc
    • better integration with fishing community

    • Assembling three fish cleaning tables at Ancarrows near parking lot
    • Wood will be precut, JROC needs to assemble
    • Spanish translation will be done by office of multicultural affairs
    • plenty of trash to cleanup around the area
    • Need to keep asking if other languages are needed in addition to Spanish
    • possibility of a QR code that can have additional translations
    • JRPS can have up to 25 people in a work project
      • Social distancing and masks still required
    • Possible additional work on sawmill to fix eroding canal wall
      • water needs to be below 8ft or so
    • RO and Keep Virginia Cozy are going to cleanup Pipeline in late May

    • 20k grant for brochures and updated bilingual signage for safety
    • ask for 5k upfront to start project

    • South River and Rappahannock extension were both approved as Virginia Scenic Rivers
    • six more rivers are up for consideration

    • looking at replacing floating dock at belle isle quarry pond
    • completed conservation easement inspection
  • Bryce/Trails Report, Visitation Numbers
    • Bryce moving into new position at senior superintendent of south district
    • hiring new super of JRPS

      • americorp volunteer to work on trails/greenways and invasive species removal
      • VCU student will be an intern
