- Contractor is working. No damage from last high water event- still need to have water go down to drain cofferdam. Are actively pouring concrete. mid-April completion date. Approved $30k for concrete pad turnaround- could be pushed to the fall. Trying to pitch in $7k more in order to meet the estimate.
- James River Women
- Got $10k grant for gear etc
- Shared storage unit for JROC (20%) and JRW (80%)
- Motion for the unit closest to 14th St – Approved
- Armstrong HS after school paddling program planning. 3-5 students at first– provide gear then more outreach.

- 185,532 YTD – up 30k+ compared to last year
- Reedy counter failing – discussed alternative to counters through cell phones. Privacy concerns. $10,000/year data access. Only in the very early consideration stage. Contact FoJRP with questions and concerns.
- Would cost $6,000 to replace aging counters

- Ancarrow’s dredging complete. Good for 2 more years then new permit req.
- New trash hut at Manchester Wall; Meadows mowed; Shelter Road at the 42nd St tower was graded- no plans to re-gravel or pave the entire road; new entrance and exit signs at Pony Pasture
- JROC Feb. project at Slave Trail- new mulch
- March project could be Reedy Creek HQ outdoor classroom
- Powhite Park development – who are the points of contact? Small dog poop receptacles overflowing.
- Canoe steps fixed; citizen filled in undercut
- Parks 50th anniversary in September – new beer release planned for Riverrock in May- Raging James Pilsner
- Budget amendment Master Plan- not coming out of committee. No $30m.

- Need to fill April onwards: Maint. Road trash cleanup needed, canal near sawmill; need dry weather / low water for in-canal cleanup; high bridge missing a few planks; river’s edge behind Reedy Creek HQ and further down; bike skills park at Belle Isle- cardboard and mulch needed about 6” deep
- Weekday evening projects coming back after time change. Monthly on Wed(?) evenings starting in April.

- Flip signs have been ordered. Posts are made.

- 35 people registered for Wood River Run on April 16. expecting more as it gets closer.
- Invasive Species Awareness Week this week. Friday is the culmination event / celebration.
- Osprey cam
- Installed /fixed now – Riverside Outfitters helped. 1st osprey seen today.
- Website process w/Scott D. and Rocket Pop Media- better UI now
- JROC Magazine
- 1 week submission- update: may need another month
- JROC elections postponed until next meeting due to low attendance toward end of meeting tonight
