  • Treasurer’s Report
    • KOTJ was lucrative
      • About 14k at initial counting
    • Need to clean up items on treasurer’s report
  • November Meeting Minutes

    • Moved to the 9th
  • KOTJ Report Back
    • Emily and Cloe Tremper need to come back next year
    • Shawna handed out 14 new membership forms
    • Need to encourage membership 
    • Put safety downstream of 2nd break to catch wayward souls
    • Maybe involve Richmond Amateur Telecommunications Enthusiasts to help with comms
    • Need sweeps for all segments of the race
      • PSP has sweeps running all segments
      • Sweeps can also remove arrows
    • Safety

        • Need someone at beach
        • Maybe land based with throw rope
    • More post race food

    • Purpose of JROC is to take park user input and turn that into action
      • Possible to host popups at random places to ask people how they access/use the park.

      • Lots of good news. Comm. members attended meeting with Mayor, Kristen L. & Chris Frehlky. City is giving lots of support. City is putting $300,000 into budget for project. We will need to see how budget process works. We have approx. $11,000 outside of permit fees.

  • Reedy Fountain
    • Working on it this week and should be done this week
    • Plumbing is in
    • need to lay concrete
    • then install fountain
    • Greg hawkins plack needs to be swapped out onto the new fountain
    • Motion for $50 for sign to announce fountain is year round
      • Approved under condition that spray painted sign fails
  • Trails Report
    • Northbank Maymont trail section
      • Good feedback from neighbors
      • Construction scheduled for after the new year
    • Staff working on potholes at pony pasture
  • Super Intendent Meeting
    • Interviews were held
    • Waiting to see how things shake out
    • No in house candidates
    • Most candidates had good info about the park
    • Some were local residents
